Baznas Lampung Selatan Salurkan Zakat Fitrah dan 10 Ton Beras ke-17 Kecamatan

South Lampung (JL): The National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) of South Lampung Regency distributed zakat fitrah 10 tons of rice to 17 sub-districts, Monday (25/04/2022).

The release of zakat fitrah was immediately carried out by the South Lampung Regent H. Nanang Ermanto at the Great Mosque Courtyard, Kalianda. The zakat will later be given to thousands of mustahiq including the poor, poor, riqab, Gharim or Gharimin, converts, Fisabilliah, Ibn Sabil and Amil.

Head of Baznas for South Lampung Regency, A. mukhlisin, S.Pd, said that this year’s zakat fitrah distribution was indeed carried out by Baznas which was just formed a month ago.

“This is the first time the distribution of zakat has been carried out by the new South Lampung Baznas management. So, on average, for one sub-district, we can only provide 5 quintals of rice. There are also sub-districts that receive 4 quintals of rice, such as Bakauheni and Way Panji sub-districts which are indeed the largest. fewer villages,” he said.

He explained, for each person who is entitled to receive zakat is only 5 kg. Initially, the South Lampung Baznas wanted to give each mustahiq 10 kg.

“But, as a result of deliberation with our fellow administrators, we finally gave 5 kg. This was done with the aim of being equal. I also hope that in the future all Forkopimda such as the Polres, Kodim, District Courts, Religious Courts will also distribute their zakat in Baznas Lamsel, because now only the Ministry of Religion who distribute their zakat to us,” he explained.

South Lampung Regent H. Nanang Ermanto really appreciates the work of Baznas Lamsel, which has only been around for a while.

“I really appreciate the work of Baznas Lamsel, even though they have only just been sworn in. This is history, I also appreciate all South Lampung civil servants who have supported Baznas by distributing their zakat this year,” said Nanang.

Nanang will also continue to support the South Lampung Baznas.

“Earlier I heard the Chairman of Baznas’ remarks, later I will help and support how Baznas is present to continue to help in the midst of the community. I will fight for all elements, business actors, Forkopimda to pay their zakat at Baznas. But I also hope that in the future Baznas will become professional and mandate to manage zakat. If today there is a slight shortage, we hope you understand because Baznas Lamael has just been formed after a long absence,” said Nanang.(fit)
